Respond to what Medicare found

Each facility page shows what Medicare’s records say about the home. If something has changed since, or needs context, your home can add a short response. It appears right beside that item on your page, for every family to see.

How responses work

  • 1
Write your responseKeep it factual and short (up to 600 characters): what happened, what you changed, and anything families should know now.
  • 2
We verify youWe confirm you work at the home by calling its main number as listed with Medicare, then publish your response, usually within two business days.
  • 3
It appears beside the findingLabeled as the facility’s response, with your role and the date. Medicare’s data itself is never changed or removed.

Responding is free for every home. Please leave out any resident’s name or health information, and anything we couldn’t publish (advertising, or claims about other homes). We may shorten a response for length or privacy. Our methodology.
